Bonnaroo Update #1
Hey guys! Mark and Kelly from the promo staff here! We have traveled over 500 miles to Nashville, TN in anticipation of Bonnaroo 2010. Over the course of this weekend we will be updating the blog with everything Bonnaroo.
Big news came from Conan O’Brien’s twitter saying “Jack White & I are doing something cool tomorrow. Hint it involves a LOT of Tears for Fears songs.”
The tweet was followed by this video.
Conan will be at Bonnaroo this year, as well as Jack White with the Dead Weather. So, the question remains who is the woman in the cape and hat behind Jack? We will have more updates for you about this and all things Bonnaroo tomorrow.
Lollapalooza 2010 schedule released; single day tickets on sale now
Lollapalooza Schedule Revealed; Limited Number of Single Day Tickets Are On Sale
Lollapalooza is revealed the schedule of performers today, Tuesday, June 8 at 10am CDT. Daily grids for the festival outline the 130-plus band set times and stages for the three-day experience happening in Chicago’s Grant Park August 6-8. Festival goers can visit www.lollapalooza.com to organize their Lolla weekend down to the minute, create a custom schedule, and share it with friends. Friday highlights include Lady Gaga, The Strokes, Jimmy Cliff, Hot Chip, and The Black Keys; Saturday features Green Day, Phoenix, Social Distortion, Spoon, and Cut Copy; and Sunday will close with sets by Soundgarden, Arcade Fire, MGMT and The National.
Three-day passes are still available for $215. Limited quantities of single day passes will go on-sale June 8 at 10am CDT for $90, and be will available until sellout or show time. Prices are inclusive of all fees. Admission is free for kids ten and under accompanied by a ticketed adult.
